Guide to the East Village

A Perfect Day in the East Village

Start your morning at 787 Coffee, my fav spot in the East Village. This shop is a chain you can find around the Village where you can get your favorite coffee or tea all grown and harvested from the farms in puerto rice. "From their farms to your cup." If you live in the area you receive 10% off!

Once you grab your coffee I would recommend taking a stroll through Astor place and taking a seat near the cube. Enjoy your coffee as you watch the hustle and bustle of the city go by. You can take your try at the cube and see if you can spin it on your own.

You feel your stomach start to rumble? Well I got the perfect brunch spot for you. B&H dairy home of the perfect homestyle diner breakfast and lunch spot or even midnight snack. I recommend their pancakes and anything made with their famous challah. B&H has been around 81 years going strong with the sweetest work staff and the most comforting meal in town.

One of my favorite activities in the Village is thrift and vintage shopping. My go to spot is L-train vintage on 1st avenue. L-train is the best spot to find hidden treasures for the best prices and coolest finds.

Next up take a stroll through Washington square park and don't forget a picnic blanket. Spread out your blanket and enjoy the sun on your face. Washington Square Park has a surprise in every corner. Yoga in one corner, clothing and candle sales in the other, skateboarding and instrument playing around the corner.

As Dinner time rolls around hit up Double Zero, vegan pizza and pasta. I am not vegan and this spot has the best pizza and pasta in town with interesting topping and flavors. The restaurant has great ambience and wonderful waiting staff.

Finish you night off at the famous McSorley's Old Ale House around since 1854. Grab a few beers and enjoy the historical atmosphere.
